Accreditations, Associations and Qualifications


CAA Permission for Aerial Work No. 928

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is responsible for the regulation of aviation safety in the UK including UAVs and drones. Permission to operate a UAS for 'aerial work' is required from the CAA. We have also received special permission to operate UAVs during night time.


Constructionline is the UK's leading procurement and supply chain management service that collects, assesses and monitors standard company information through a question set that is aligned to PAS 91.


Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme is the industry accreditation for health and safety standards. This is a national database of contractors who have been through a health and safety assessment, and have demonstrated adequate compliance and management standards.

Achilles UVBD

Achilles UVDB enables the utilities sector to use Achilles' proven supplier pre-qualification system to manage risk within the supply chain and comply with EU regulations.

ISO 9001

ISO 9001 is the most recognised and respected international benchmark for quality. Achieving this standard represents a clear commitment to meeting the demanding criteria set out by the Organisation for Standardisation.



ARPAS-UK is the professional trade association for Remotely Piloted Aircraft and Systems in the UK. The association is the only non-commercial professional body, solely representing SUA operators and manufacturers as well as promoting the highest levels of professionalism amongst all its members.


The British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) is the professional body for facilities management (FM). They promote and embed professional standards in facilities management.


The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) is a body that represents construction management professionals who work within the built environment.

Lloyds Register

Lloyds Register helps to ensure the quality construction and operation of critical infrastructure through validation, certification and accreditation. Sky Revolutions is fully compliant with their Guidance for Inspection using Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) which sets out operational and data capture considerations when using UAS for inspection.

We work with SHOC on all Overhead Electricity Inspections to ensure our work meets the highest safety and quality standards across UK distribution networks.


Roof Top Safety Awareness

Our operators are fully trained in Roof Top Safety Awareness to enable them to carry out roof surveys safely.

CSCS cards

CSCS is the leading skills certification scheme within the UK construction industry. As part of the construction skills certification scheme, Sky Revolutions have the right training and qualifications to work on various construction sites and our operatives hold CSCS cards.


Our operators are trained in IPAF (International Powered Access Federation), to enable them to prepare and safely operate various types of mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs).

RF (Radio Frequency) Safety Awareness

Sky Revolutions are trained under Radio Frequency and Safety Awareness, enabling us to work safely and practically on telecoms sites, roofs, buildings, structures or masts.

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)

We are qualified under SMSTS, which covers all relevant legislation affecting safety of working in buildings, construction and the civil engineering industries.

First Aid

Our operatives are first aid trained so they are able to provide effective treatment, confidence to act in an emergency and improve the workplace safety.
